MISSION OF THE CENTRE DES ARCHIVES FRANSASKOISES

"Acquire, preserve and make accessible the archival heritage that enriches the memory and history of the Fransaskois. "

The Société historique de la Saskatchewan is the provincial coordinator of the archives of the Fransaskois community. To fulfill its mission, the Center des Archives fransaskoises does:

• support and promote all local initiatives to preserve the archives of the fransaskois;
• provide a depository for French-language archives from Saskatchewan threatened with destruction or deterioration;
• support research and teaching by promoting the acquisition of reference volumes in its resource center.
