An experience towards reconciliation
During the Rendez-vous fransaskois (November 2 to 4, 2018), the Sociétié historique de la Saskatchewan (SHS) is proud to have presented its KAIROS Blanket Exercise workshop. 70 participants experienced this unique exercise that seeks to raise awareness of the experience of dispossession experienced by Indigenous peoples in Canada and to share their heritage. During this workshop, participants are invited to put themselves in the shoes of Indigenous people to try to understand their historical, territorial, emotional, cultural and spiritual experience of colonialism ... and also their resistance.

A prize for the Société historique de la Saskatchewan
The Société historique de la Saskatchewan has received a Lieutenant Governor's award for a heritage public outreach. This is a public development award for the September 2017 Heritage Days at Batoche National Historic Site.
