EMPLOYMENT - Project Officer

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the organization of the festival and educational activities.
  • Support audio and video recording and production; simple activities with a variety of audiences.
  • Contribute to the development of volunteer commitment and partners.
  • Ensure sound administrative and operational management of the projects entrusted
  • Contribute to the enrichment of the organization's actions and strategies.

Academic Requirements and professional experience 

  • Respond favorably to the conditions of the Young Canada Works program.
  • Have a high school diploma.
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination record.
  • An up-to-date criminal record for vulnerable persons.

Required skills 

  • Good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Write short texts and messages.
  • Organized and meticulous.
  • Communicative and collaborative.
  • Dynamic and take initiative.
  • Exercise good judgment and know-how to manage priorities.

Working conditions

  • Starting the job: May 2022
  • Salary scale: starting at $17.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Duration of employment: 4-month contract position until September 30 at the latest 2022, with the possibility of renewal
  • Workplace: Regina or Saskatoon (Saskatchewan) offices and telecommuting
  • Conditional JCT benefit: Transportation coverage.
