Workshop A : Propaganda

Help your students discover the unfolding of the war and its related themes in Saskatchewan: women's place, recycling, rationing, conscription, censorship and propaganda. Students will learn some propaganda techniques and, as a team, will have to build a World War II propaganda poster based on a theme they have been given.

Help your students discover the unfolding of the war and its related themes in Saskatchewan: women's place, recycling, rationing, conscription, censorship and propaganda. By scouring copies of French Saskatchewan newspapers from the Second World War, students will prepare a radio news show and present it to the class.
