Receive the visit of Marguerite Soucy, one of Saskatchewan's pionners!


Marguerite Soucy was born in Québec. But in the beginning of the 20th century, she must follow her family and come live in Saskatchewan to live her father's dream: becoming a farmer. Thanks to illustrations, Marguerite will tell the story of how her and her family came to live in Saskatchewan. The students will learn that living as a pionneer was not something easy!  Afterwards, the students will discover artefacts from the pioneer era and try and guess what they were used fir through a game.
